WHAT IS A LONESTAR MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT?

Our Lonestar Money Market Savings Account offers tiered rates, so higher balances earn higher rates and help you achieve your savings goals faster. Money Market accounts usually require a larger minimum deposit than traditional savings accounts.

  • Tiered rates — higher balances earn higher rates
    • $1,000 minimum balance required to access tiered rates1
  • Enjoy flexibility with enhanced access to funds and check writing capabilities:
    • The total number of preauthorized transfers allowed is six (6) per month
    • Transactions that fall into this category, besides checks and drafts, include automatic transfers to third parties, preauthorized payments, wire transfers, and telephone transfers to another account of the same depositor
    • A transaction charge of $10 per item is assessed for exceeding these limits
  • 20 free deposit items; 25¢ per item thereafter
  • If the average balance falls below $1,000.00, a $12.00 service charge will be assessed
  • Digital banking services include:
    • MyBanker™ Online Banking Service
    • First Lonestar Bank Mobile App2
    • MYMOBILEDEPOSIT® Mobile Deposit Capture
    • MYE-DOCS® Electronic Statements
  • $1,000 minimum deposit to open
  • Interest will be compounded daily and credited to the account monthly
